Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut skipped the summon send by the Bandra police in connection with the alleged 'hateful' and 'derogatory' statements against a particular community on social media.

Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel were summoned twice by the Mumbai Police to record their statements in the case.

However, Ranaut conveyed through her legal team that she won't be able to reach Mumbai before 24 as she is busy with her brother's wedding. Currently, Kangana and Rangoli sisters are in Himachal Pradesh.

A petition was filed by Manuvar Ali Shahil in Bandra court against Kangana sisters alleging that they promoted enmity between communities through their remarks.
