New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police have closed the Jharoda Kalan border using barricades and have also advised the public to use alternate routes. The advisory comes in the wake of farmer's having announced a protest. It is known that the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has called for a 'Black Friday' protest march on the completion of one year of enactment of the three farm legislation.
"Traffic alert: Both the roads of Jharoda Kalan border have been barricaded and closed due to the farmers' movement, please refrain from using this route," Delhi Traffic Police had tweeted, adding that Gurdwara Rakabganj Road, RML Hospital, G. Traffic on P.O., Ashoka Road, Baba Kharak Singh Marg will be full due to the farmers' movement.

The farmers' movement against the contentious farm laws enacted by the Centre continues with the adamant farmers sitting on a protest at different borders of Delhi demanding the laws be repealed.
The Delhi Traffic Police further tweeted that the traffic coming from Gurgaon to Sardar Patel Marg and from Narayan to Loop has also been diverted towards Ring Road Moti Bagh, adding that the traffic will remain heavy.
