Hyderabad: India reported 29,689 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday. The death toll climbed to 4,21,382 with 415 daily fatalities. The active cases stand at 3,98,100.
The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 3,06,21,469. The Ministry said that 44,19,12,395 people have been vaccinated so far in the country under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 45,91,64,121 samples have been tested up to July 26. Of which, 17,20,110 samples were tested on Monday.
