1. Union Home Minister Amit Shah to address meetings in Tamil Nadu and Kerala
Union Home Minister and BJP leader is scheduled to address a roadshow in Thousand lights (Tamil Nadu) at 10:20 am, public meeting in Tirunelveli(Tamil Nadu) at 1 pm, Sulthan Bathery (Kerala) at 3:30 pm, Road Show in Kozhikode (Kerala) at 5 pm and public meeting in Cherthala (Kerala) at 7 pm.
2. Curfew in Pune between 6 pm to 6 am for a week starting today
The Pune district administration in Maharashtra will impose a curfew between 6 pm to 6 am for a week starting today.
Eateries, bars and restaurants will remain shut as COVID-19 cases surge in the Pune district. Shopping Malls, cinema halls and places of religious worship will also remain closed for a week.
3. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to inaugurate projects worth over Rs 2,000 crore
The Union Minister for Raod Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate seven projects worth over Rs 2000 crore in Jharkhand virtually from Delhi. Even Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda is expected to be a part of the event.
