A helicopter of the Indian Air Force(IAF) on Wednesday made an emergency landing due to a technical snag in Manikpur under the Rajpur police station area in the Buxar district of Bihar.

Buxar (Bihar): A helicopter of the Indian Air Force(IAF) on Wednesday made an emergency landing due to a technical snag in Manikpur under the Rajpur police station area in the Buxar district of Bihar. According to the information, after the technical glitch in the fan of the helicopter and a possible spark, it was hurriedly landed in the playground of Manikpur High School at 5 pm. About 20 officers and soldiers of the Air Force aboard the helicopter are safe. The helicopter was en route to Bihta (Bihar) Air Force Station from Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh).

As the information about the incident was received, a police team from the local police station reached the spot. All the officers were accommodated in the rooms of the local school.

As soon as the helicopter landed, a crowd of villagers gathered on the spot and people started taking selfies with the helicopter.

Confirming the incident, SP Neeraj Kumar Singh said that the helicopter made the landing due to a technical snag. All the officers aboard the helicopter are safe. Police of the local police station has been sent to the spot to help the Air Force officers.
