The crux of the issue
ETV Bharat had earlier talked to the local people, who said that this stone has been broken for the last 3 months and no one came to repair it. ETV Bharat also questioned the Jamia administration about this. There ETV Bharat came to know that till 2016, the army used to maintain this memorial, but after that person associated with the army stopped attending to the grave and in the meantime, someone broke the memorial stone.
Repair in collaboration with Jamia
After all this, the army moved into gear and the damaged tomb of Brigadier Mohammad Usman has been repaired. The army has done this work with the technical support of Jamia. Now the nameplate of Brigadier Usman and the 'Lion of Nowshera' nickname, which was broken for the last 3 months, has been set right. At the same time, new marble has been installed on the floor. Flowering plants are also to be planted here.
Pakistan's proposal was rejected
Brigadier Mohammad Osman was a great soldier of the Indian Army.
