J&K: CRPF Inspector General of Jammu Sector P. S. Ranpise today said that security forces are constantly strategizing to deal with the ever-increasing threat of drones. He added that not only the Central Government, but all security forces deployed in J&K are always ready to thwart any such attempts.
Worth mentioning, the CRPF has also made elaborate security arrangements at all the pilgrimage sites and religious places in the region including the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine ahead of the Navratri.

The CRPF has also been deployed for security in the hinterland and at all vital installations. The CRPF along with sister agencies like Army, Police and other para-military forces, is also maintaining well-knitted synergy to curb counter-terrorism in the region.
Besides, the responsibility of the Road Opening Party (ROP) on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, CRPF and other troops have also been deployed on the entire highway, not only to facilitate smooth traffic movement but also to keep a hawk-eye on any suspicious movements, particularly related to terrorist activity.
