New Delhi: In less than 24 hours of their arrest from Uttar Pradesh, the Special Cell of the Delhi probing the Pakistan-based Terror Module has released three suspected youth after interrogation.
These persons were arrested by the UP ATS and were handed over to the Special Cell. Police said that no evidence was found against them in the initial interrogation. "We did not get any information from the suspects, Imtiyaz and Mohammad Jaleel. So, we have released them today," police added.
The police also said that these people were not directly connected with this module. Therefore, after interrogation, they were released.
On Tuesday, Delhi Police Special Cell has busted a Pakistan organised terror module and arrested six people including two Pakistani-trained terrorists.
The arrested suspects were planning to carry out targeted killings and blasts across the country. In addition, explosives and firearms were also recovered from the arrested persons in a multi-state operation, police informed.
The four suspects have been identified as Jan Mohammed Ali Sheikh, Zeeshan Qamar, Osama, and Mohd. Abu Bakar.
