Darbhanga Parcel Blast case: NIA brings two arrested militants to Delhi

The militants Nasir and Imran, arrested in Darbhanga Parcel Blast case, have been brought to Delhi by the National Investigation Agency team on Sunday.

Patna: The militants Nasir and Imran, arrested in Darbhanga Parcel Blast case, have been brought to Delhi by the National Investigation Agency team on Sunday. Sources said the militants were granted approval to travel after investigation by medical officer of the Anti-Terrorism Squad at 9 am. They were taken to Delhi for further interrogation, as per sources.

The duo were arrested from Hyderabad on June 30. They have been been sent on remand by the NIA court till next Thursday. Till now, four militants have been arrested in connection with the case.

The case was originally registered last month at Bihar's Darbhanga relating to an explosion in a parcel on platform number one of Darbhanga railway station. The parcel had arrived in Darbhanga aboard Secunderabad-Darbhanga express. Earlier, Mohammad Imran Malik and his brother Mohammad Nasir Malik, allegedly associated with terror outfit LeT, were arrested for their alleged involvement in the parcel blast at Darbhanga railway station.
