Mumbai: As the country is witnessing a rapid surge in the number of COVID-19 cases, people made a beeline in front at the vaccination center at NESCO in Goregaon.
On the one hand, while the people were desperately waiting for the center to open, some people feared there may be a shortage of doses.

Only those with token were administered the jab. The vaccination center had a stock of 4,500 vaccines for Thursday while 3,500 people had registered themselves in the morning.
Officials at the vaccination centre urged the people to arrive for the jab only if they received a token. Social distancing norms were followed. Senior citizens were administered the shot first.
A few incidents of scuffles were witnessed at the center due to the huge turnout.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation had released the list of vaccination centres only on Wednesday evening. A total of 66 government-run vaccination centres and nine private centres inoculated the people in Mumbai on Thursday.
