CBSE orders regional offices to conduct surprise inspection of schools

The CBSE has directed the regional directors to visit the schools preparing the results of class 10th and 12th and verify and inspect their work in their respective areas. CBSE has also directed that they conduct a sudden inspection of schools without giving any prior notice.

Hyderabad: The CBSE has directed the regional directors to visit the schools preparing the results of class 10th and 12th and verify and inspect their work in their respective areas. CBSE has also directed that the regional offices conduct inspections of schools without giving any prior notice. To ensure that the tabulation policy issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is being effectively followed by the schools, there will be surprise inspections of the schools by the officials of the regional offices.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced that the academic session for classes 10th and 12th will be divided into two parts with a 50 per cent syllabus for the CBSE Board Examination 2022.

Regarding the CBSE Board Examination 2022, the board has said that the first examination will be held in November-December while the second examination will be held in March-April. CBSE has said that the syllabus for the 10th and 12th examinations will be rationalised in 2021-22, it will also be notified by the end of July.

In 2021, due to the second wave of Corona, CBSE 10th and 12th examinations had to be cancelled. Therefore, the board has already prepared for the 2022 examination. According to CBSE, because of the fear of the third wave of Corona, a special scheme (CBSE Special Scheme 2021-22) has been prepared for the 2022 board examination. Under this, the 10th and 12th classes are divided into two terms. Exams will be conducted at the end of each term. The syllabus (CBSE Syllabus 2021) will also be different in both terms.

CBSE Director (Teaching) Joseph Emmanuel said, "Syllabus for the academic session 2021-22 will be rationally divided into two terms with the help of subject experts." He said, "Based on the bifurcation of the syllabus, the board will conduct examinations at the end of each term".

These steps have been taken to increase the chances of the CBSE conducting the 10th and 12th examinations at the end of the academic session. The syllabus of Board Examination 2021-22 will be rationalised with reference to the last academic session notified in July 2021.
