Hyderabad: At a time when the campaign in poll-bound Tamil Nadu has reached its feverish pitch, a section of DMK candidates has launched a cheeky campaign inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to campaign against them in their respective constituencies.
A series of tweets tagging PM Modi requested him to campaign for their rival NDA candidates in the fray. All tweets marked to Modi by the DMK candidates and sitting MLAs from the Assembly has been made in the backdrop of Modi's Campaign in the state today.
They claimed that Modi's campaign against them will help them win with a huge margin.
DMK led Congress alliance is up against AIADMK led BJP in Tamil Nadu assembly election, which goes to polls on April 6.

As PM today campaigns in the state for alliance candidates at Madurai and Kanyakumari, the DMK MLA candidates taunted him to show that he is unpopular among the voters of Tamil Nadu.
They were also angered by the tax raids against DMK chief MK Stalin's son-in-law Sabareesan and Anna Nagar DMK Candidate Mohan at Chennai.
Whenever Modi visits Tamil Nadu "Go Back Modi" hashtag usually trends on Twitter. Also, DMK led opposition accused BJP candidates that they're reluctant to project Modi as their leader citing the incidents such as erasing Modi's name in the wall campaigns and projecting former AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha instead of Modi.
