Ghaziabad: A major accident has been reported from Ghaziabad as a bus ferrying employees of a private company went out of control and fell from a flyover. The bus was coming from Noida. Police are yet to ascertain as to what led the bus to veer from its course and fall from the flyover. Reports from the site of the accident say that two people have died in the accident.
Many of the passengers have been reported to be injured and have been taken to local hospitals for treatment. Some of the passengers are trapped in the bus and efforts are on to rescue them. The police are yet to ascertain the number of people who were on the bus.
Meanwhile, a large crowd of onlookers had gathered at the place making it difficult for the police to continue with the rescue operations. The rescue workers broke through the rear windshield of the bus and gained access to the bus. The passengers were being pulled out of the bus through the opening at the rear of the bus.
