Both Houses of Parliament adjourned till tomorrow

Both Houses of the Parliament have been adjourned amid ruckus by the Opposition. Rajya Sabha has been adjourned amid ruckus by opposition parties over their boycotting of the Business Advisory Committee meeting of the Upper House on Monday.

New Delhi: Both Houses of the Parliament on Tuesday was adjourned till Wednesday. The Lok Sabha was adjourned till tomorrow amid protest by the Opposition over various issues.

Earlier in the day soon after the proceedings started, DMK MPs raised the demand that the NEET examination be abolished in the Lok Sabha. There was a ruckus in the Lok Sabha when Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani introduced the Prohibition of Child Marriage (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in Lok Sabha.

Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha witnessed severe disruptions during the ongoing winter session over the suspension of 12 opposition MPs due to alleged misconduct during the last monsoon session.

There has been considerable ruckus in the Parliament over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident also.
