New Delhi: Indian Youth Congress (IYC) took out a "Sansad Gherao" protest march, on Tuesday, against the three farm laws, rising unemployment in the country and hike in fuel prices. Before the march, a public meeting was also organized by the IYC in which many of the senior party leaders also joined in.

Leading the protest march, IYC President Srinivas BV said, "The Central Government is anti-farmer and against the youth of this country. Prime Minister is the culprit of farmers as well as of the youth. PM lied by promising two crore jobs and now he is suppressing the voice of crore of farmers to benefit his capitalist friends."
"The anti-farmer black law is the whims of Prime Minister and if these are not withdrawn, there will be a fierce fight on the streets. Today, we are going to so Sansad Gehrao to awaken the deaf and dumb government," he further added.
Senior Congress leaders including Digvijay Singh, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary, Nitin Raut, Bhakta Charan Das, Anil Chaudhary, Sushmita Dev, Deepender Hooda, Pawan Khera and many others addressed a public meeting where they accused the Central Government of overlooking the protesting farmers demand to repeal the three farm laws.

While speaking to media, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said, "Until we will fight for our rights, how will this country develop? I'm sure that Modiji will not be able to sleep after witnessing thousands of youth congress members raising the issues of our country. PM speaks a lot of things but why he is not ready to give it in writing?"
Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera took a swipe at his own party members saying that many leaders need to understand that if Congress will not continue its fight like this, then people will forget about it.
