Rajgarh: A Lord Ganesha idol donned in the khadi RSS attire installed in a 100-year-old temple of Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh has been attracting devotees. Interestingly, not only the deity of prosperity but even his 'vahana' (mouse) was also seen wearing half pants, a white shirt and a pair of black shoes.
The idol installed by the Ganesh Utsav Samiti is also showing the mouse taking pledge similar to RSS workers.
It is believed that the idol is inspired by the functioning of the RSS, hence holding a saffron flag in his hand.
Also known as Vinayak Chaturthi, the festival is celebrated across the country for 10 days. People in large numbers welcome Ganesha to their homes and pandals with dance and music.
After 10 days of celebration, people immerse the idols in the sea or in different water bodies with the same zeal.
