Hyderabad (Telangana): Joel Reifman, US Consul General visited Ramoji Film City (RFC) in Hyderabad on Friday as a courtesy to meet Eenadu Group Chairman Ramoji Rao.
During his visit, Ramoji Rao briefed Reifman about his journey, struggle and the success of Eenadu, ETV, Ramoji Film City and ETV Bharat.
Reifman was immensely impressed with the kind of work the group is doing and was surprised to see Rao personally taking interest in every work performed by the group.
Later, Reifman along with Public Affairs Officer Drew Giblin and Media Advisor Mohammed Basith visited ETV Bharat Studio where Bapineedu Chaudhary, Executive Director along with Editorial and technical heads of the network, explained how the technology is being used for the app-based news platform which offers content in 13 languages.

Reifman congratulated Ramoji Rao for creating such a huge new base which is first of its kind in the nation.
Reifman appreciated ETV Group for providing employment opportunities for thousands of youth.
Consul General asserted that the ways of news services have changed and those organisations will succeed who adopt the latest technologies for the faster and authentic news services.
The Consul General interacted with young journalists and also encouraged them to do well by taking selfies.
Reifman toured Film City and he was amazed by the shooting spots and studios.
He appreciated the management for maintaining such a huge place.
He also said that filmmakers in the United States will be happy to come to Ramoji Film City for producing their movies.
He visited the iconic set of film 'Bahubali' and clicked pictures.
“Since I watched Bahubali I am able to connect myself with all the sets. I’m thrilled to be here and able to see the wonderful shooting sets," Reifman added.
