New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission has announced UPSC Civil Services Result 2019 on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. The list of toppers has also been released by the Commission along with the result. A total of 829 candidates have been selected to various Civil Services through the exam.
This time a daughter of ASI Rajkumar Yadav who is serving at Dwarka's Police headquarters has made his father proud not only passing the exam with good marks but also securing 6th rank in India.
This was the third attempt of Vishakha Yadav, who lives with her family in Kiran Gardens of Dwarka district.
She kept working hard after failing twice in the prelims exam, after which she successfully achieved 6the rank in her third attempt.
Vishakha has a B.Tech degree from Delhi College of Engineering and also worked in corporate for two years. After leaving her job, she dedicated to the UPSC exam.
Vishakha's father Rajkumar joined the Delhi Police as a constable in 1986 and currently, he is posted in the Dwarka DCP office on the post of Assistant Sub Inspector.
This year the exam has been topped by Pradeep Singh followed by Jatin Kishore.
This year a total of 829 candidates have been selected for various posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, etc. The final results are released on the basis of the preliminary exam followed by the main exam and interview.
The preliminary exam was conducted in September 2019, main exam and interview were conducted between February to August 2020.
