Tehri Garhwal (Uttarakhand): A group of tourists visiting Tehri Garhwal, a popular tourist destination in Uttarakhand, discovered a hidden camera embedded in the ceiling fan of their hotel room on Tuesday.
The tourists, hailing from Delhi, were vacationing in Tehri Garhwal when they checked into a private hotel in the district.
After spending a few hours in their room, the tourists felt suspicious and checked the room for hidden camera's, which is when they discovered a spy camera fitted inside the ceiling fan above their bed.
The tourists immediately informed the local police, who in turn raided the hotel premise and seized the hidden camera along with other suspicious material from the hotel.
"We have interrogated the owner of the hotel and have seized the camera as well other suspicious material found in the hotel, and we are further investigating the case," said Sohan Singh Tomar, Investigating Officer.

Tehri Garhwal is visited by a large number of devotees every year around this time, to commence the Char Dham yatra, a set of four pilgrimage sites in India.
