1. Space Activities Bill in final stages: ISRO

Secretary to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) R Uma Maheshwaran speaking at a webinar revealed that the Space Activities Bill is soon to be approved by the Cabinet.

2. Govt to charge passengers higher aviation security fee from September 1

Making the air travel slightly costlier, the officials said the ASF for domestic flyers will be increased to Rs 160 from Rs 150 starting next month, and international passengers will pay 5.2 USD instead of 4.85 USD as the ASF from September 1.

3. Bengaluru violence case: UAPA invoked against 31 alleged offenders

The state cabinet has made changes to the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code of 2006 under which the third gender will be perceived as individuals from a landowner's family and will have an equivalent option to acquire agricultural property.

8. No decision on banning 'certain organisations' for Bengaluru violence: Karnataka law minister

Karnataka Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister J C Madhuswamy on Thursday said that no decisions have been taken so far, he added that a final call to ban any organisation in the state will be taken only after "getting reports."
