Bharatpur (Uttar Pradesh): At least three people, including two women, heading towards Jaipur died on Jaipur Agra National Highway on Monday morning. The incident took place near Lulhara village after the ambulance in which they were travelling in rammed into a tree.
During the probe, police found that the ambulance was carrying residents of Agra along with one patient named Mamta. Cops informed that two people died on the spot and they had to put in tremendous efforts to take out the bodies from the vehicle.
"As soon as the incident came to light, injured woman was rushed to the hospital but she died during the treatment. There were six people in the ambulance," said Head Constable Shree Lal.
The deceased have been identified as Mamta's husband Hem Singh, Maharaj and Gulabo.
"Two persons, including the driver, are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Bodies have been sent for autopsy," added Lal.
Earlier, four people had died near Lulhara village in a road accident.
