Sushant's family lawyer addresses media, says family pained by false campaign
Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer Vikas Singh said that a malicious campaign was being run by few channels to defame his family and benefit actress Rhea Chakraborty, who has been accused of abetting the actor's suicide.
The senior advocate told the media that Sushant's three sisters -- Priyanka, Mitu and Rani -- told him that they are extremely pained by the negative and false campaign related to his mental health which has been started by some news channels.
"The campaign relates to his mental health. In spite of what has been said in FIR, it's being carried that family knew about his depression& concealed it," he said.
He further said that the FIR says abetment to suicide which is not a one-day incident but it is a series of events. The events that have unfolded the family thinks it can be murder but they will wait for the investigation to complete.
"Sushant Singh Rajput's father & sister have decided that no film/serial/book should be written/made without expressed consent of his father & without script being shown to him. If anyone goes against it, they will do it at their own peril," he said.
"The FIR clearly says after Rhea Chakraborty came Sushant Singh Rajput started having a problem, because he used to anxious. Whatever treatment she was getting him was never disclosed to the family. Some of the prescriptions that were shared just mention the tablets and not disease," Singh added.
