New Delhi: Amid reports of rift among partners of 'Mahagathbandhan' (grand alliance) in Bihar, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Manoj Jha on Thursday expressed hope that better sense would prevail and partner political parties be together once again to give tough fight to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Talking to the ETV Bharat here, the RJD leader said he was an "eternal optimist" and his party would never give up.
"We have learnt it from our leader Lalu Prasad ji. Political situation is difficult in the country but we have not lost hope and we will never," he said, adding that Mahagathbandhan partners would contest the upcoming by-polls in the state together.
Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP) of the grand alliance in the Hindi heartland state have already declared their candidates for the by polls to be held on October 21.
