Hyderabad (Telangana): The Railways is planning to run about 200 special trains across the country during the festive season.
The South Central Railway has sent proposals to the Railway Board for running 17 special trains. The list will be approved by the railways in a day or two. Gautami, Narsapur, Narayanadri, Charminar, Sabari, Guwahati Express and 11 other trains are likely to be available for passengers.
In view of the congestion, Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav held a meeting with the officials of all zones on September 30 through video conference. He also hinted that another 200 special trains were likely to arrive in the wake of the festival season.
The Railways is preparing to start reservations for the same.

Vijayawada- Hubli,
Hyderabad- Jaipur,
Hyderabad- Roxul,
Tirupati - Amravati (Maharashtra),
Nagpur - Chennai,
Secunderabad - Howrah and
Bhubaneswar - Bangalore.
