Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh): With Congress leader, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra asked to vacate her government bungalow in Delhi's Lodhi Estate by August 1, an admirer and supporter of Vadra has offered her his house in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi.
Puneet Mishra, a residence of Khojwa area in Varanasi, has put up a nameplate outside his two-storeyed house which reads: "H/O Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, General Secretary, All India Congress Committee (AICC)".
"Priyanka Gandhi has been given a one-month notice period to vacate her house in Delhi. Since I am a huge admirer and supporter of hers, I decided to offer her my house which can be used by her as per her convenience," Mishra told ETV Bharat.
Mishra added, "With elections in Uttar Pradesh nearing, it would serve her well to stay at Varanasi and fight the elections. She can use this house as an office and her residence as well. This house is equipped to accommodate not just Priyanka Gandhi but her entire family as well."

In a government notice issued on July 1, Priyanka Gandhi was asked to vacate her Delhi residence, which was allotted to her in 1997, in a month while stating that she owes Rs 3.46 lakh in dues.
The notice came after her Special Protection Group (SPG) security cover was revoked in November last year.
"Consequent upon withdrawal of SPG protection and grant of Z+ security cover by Ministry of Home Affairs, which does not have provision for allotment/retention of government accommodation on security ground to you, the allotment of Type 6B house number 35, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi is hereby cancelled with effect from 01/07/2020," said the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs' notice.
