Ludhiana (Punjab): Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making a special effort to check on the health of his senior colleagues in the Bharatiya Janata party.
The Prime Minister is understood to be calling on several of his senior colleagues on the phone to check on their health and ensure that they are not facing any trouble during the nationwide lockdown.
And one such person whom the Prime Minister called was senior BJP leader from Ludhiana Madan Mohan Vyas.
"The call came at around 8:45 am. I didn't receive the call in the morning, but later in the afternoon got a call from same number and then I spoke to PM Modi," said Madan Mohan Vyas.
"We talked around 1:54 minutes. He asked about my family. He was sounding so humble. It felt so nice," he added.
He asked about the ongoing situation amid COVID-19 lockdown in Ludhiana and asked to take care of our health.
"I had a telephonic conversation with PM Modi after four years. His call not only boosted my enthusiasm but also energized the old and senior BJP leaders," he informed.
Lastly, Madan Mohan Vyas said, BJP workers should be eager to fulfil the responsibilities not the post.
