Nayagarh (Odisha): A man from Odisha has taken inspiration from Super 30 experiment by mathematician Anand Kumar in Bihar and started a free coaching centre for poor students.
Ashwin Kumar Padhi hails from Odagaon village of Nayagarh District in Odisha, who after completing his B.tech degree, served in a private firm but he was never satisfied with his job.
He decided that he will serve the society by helping poor children in their studies by coaching them free of cost.
To help the underprivileged students, who aspire to achieve big in life but their financial condition is a roadblock, Padhi started giving free coaching to 25 children.
Padhi's parents, who are also teachers, support him in this noble cause.
While speaking to ETV Bharat Padhi said, "Teaching was always my passion as I have grown up in such an environment and saw my parents are always doing their job very brilliantly."
He teaches children from class 5th to 10 and provides them with stationeries.
To finance 25 children's education, Padhi started his own IT firm and some of his friends also help him.
"Every child is different and is capable of something different. We must look at what they are good at. The financial hardship has been no deterrent to the confidence of these children to achieve something big," Padhi said.
Padhi's gesture has set an example of humanity and inspire many others.
