New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Tarik Anwar on Tuesday said that the NDA government in Bihar will not run for long as BJP seems to have grabbed key portfolios in the cabinet without taking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar into confidence.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, the Congress leader claimed that Nitish Kumar will always be under pressure as the BJP has won more seats than the JD(U).
"The NDA government also depends heavily on its allied parties Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) and they together have 8 MLAs. Although these both parties have earlier been with Mahagathanban, we will no try to bring them back with us now," he said.
Anwar further alleged that the mandate for change was against the NDA but it illegally got converted the mandate in its favour.
Notably, JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Bihar chief minister for the seventh time Monday, and unlike in his previous terms, he was flanked by new BJP faces at the swearing-in ceremony.
