Datia: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra on Sunday suspended Badoni Tehsildar for not appearing on the stage despite calling him four times. Mishra was attending a function to distribute ration slips to Ghosda beneficiaries in Datia district.
In the video that is making rounds on social media, the BJP leader can be heard asking, "Who is the Tehsildar present here? Who is Tehsil worker here? Call him."
The minister called upon the Tehsildar four times to appear on the stage but the officer did not turn up which prompted Mishra to pass suspension orders against Sunil Verma. Reports suggest that Verma did not turn up for the distribution programme.
In the programme, Narottam Mishra distributed ration slips to 59 beneficiaries enrolled under the government scheme. Municipal Corporation (MC) President Savitri Sutrakar, BJP leader Captain Kushwaha and other MC workers were also present on the occasion.
