Much awaited KGF Chapter 2 teaser released

Hombale films released the much-awaited KGF Chapter 2 teaser and it garnered 772k likes in an hour. KGF 2 is expected to hit theatres this summer.

Bengaluru: The much-awaited trailer of KGF: Chapter 2 was released on Thursday to contain the damage before it was leaked online hours before its official launch. The film is a sequel to the 2018 period-action blockbuster "KGF" starring Yash in the lead.

KGF: Chapter 2" also features actor Sanjay Dutt, making his Kannada debut. The teaser garnered 1,50,900 views in 39 minutes.

Karnataka based film production house Hombale films took to Twitter and announced, "A promise was once made, that promise will be kept! Wishing Rocking Star

Production on the movie was affected due to the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown in March.

The work on the sequel resumed in August, with actors Prakash Raj and Malavika Avinash joining the team.

"KGF" follows the story of Rocky (Yash) who rises from poverty to become the king of a gold mine.

The sequel also stars Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty.

The plot revolves around a dreaded criminal Rocky, played by Yash, and his desire to rule the gold mines of Kolar results in a turf war with Adheera.

KGF 2 is expected to hit theatres this summer.
