New Delhi: Rhea Chakraborty has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court alleging that Sushant Singh Rajput suicide has been blown out of proportion as it occurred in the wake of Bihar elections and reportedly CM Nitish Kumar is responsible for the registration of FIRs.
"The issue is blown out of proportion in Media. Media channels are examining and cross-examining all the witnesses in the case. Petitioner is already convicted by the media even before a foul play in the death of Sushant Singh Rajpur is established," read the affidavit.

The affidavit also says that the sensationalisation of the case has caused immense trauma and infringement of privacy of the rights of Rhea.
In the last 30 days, 2 more actors have committed suicide but there is not even whisper about them and just sensationalising Rajput's death.
Drawing a parallel with 2G and Talwar case, Rhea has said that accused were found innocent by the courts later but were pronounced guilty by the media much before that.
"Investigation into financial scams if thousands of crores by Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) never see the light of the day and a drop of a hat, cases get registered even without there being a jurisdiction in the foundational case," read the affidavit.
She had moved SC seeking transfer of FIR from Bihar to Mumbai. However, the matter has been taken over by the CBI now. The court will hear the case on Tuesday.
