New Delhi: In wake of forthcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, opposition parties are mulling to form Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) in the state.
Speculations are that Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) will be forming the alliance and they will also try to bring Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD) and left parties with them.
Outlining the details to ETV Bharat, senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (MP) from Dhanbad, Pashupatinath Singh said that despite Mahagathbandhan in place, the BJP managed to emerge as the undisputed winner in Lok Sabha elections.
"Mahagathbandhan in Jharkhand assembly elections will meet the same fate as the Lok Sabha elections. The public will overlook them again and they will be routed in the state too," said Singh.
He further said that BJP has targeted over 65 seats in the forthcoming assembly elections as Raghubar Das government has done so much of development for the last five years.
