Light to moderate rainfall expected in Telangana during next 24 hours

With the low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal likely to move north-west direction, Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad predicted the rains to subside from Thursday. The IMD has also predicted light to moderate rains in the State during the next 24 hours.

Hyderabad: A low-pressure area which formed in the central Bay of Bengal has moved to the west-central Bay of Bengal, said Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad.

It is likely to move northwest in the next 24 hours, said K Nagaratna, Director of IMD in Hyderabad.

The IMD has also predicted light to moderate rains in the State during the next 24 hours.

It also said there will be isolated heavy rains. The director of IMD said the rain is likely to subside from Thursday.
