K'taka CM launches logo for its mass wedding scheme

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Friday formally launched the logo designed for govt's 'mass wedding' scheme. The ceremony will be organised between April 26 and May 24 this year, with the aim of serving those belonging to the economically weaker sections of society.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Friday formally launched the logo designed for its 'mass wedding' scheme.

The mass wedding ceremony will be organised between April 26 and May 24 this year, with the aim of serving those belonging to the economically weaker sections of society.

As per the state government guidelines, a couple can only avail the benefits of the scheme if both their parents attend the wedding.

The ceremony will be organised and financed by temples which fall under the Muzrai department.

Apart from organising the wedding ceremony, the temples will also provide eight grams of gold, along with cash worth Rs. 10, 000 to the bride and Rs. 5,000 to the groom.

The government plans to organise at least 1,000 weddings in 90-100 temples.

The couples wanting to tie the knot are expected to register themselves 30 days before the scheduled date with the temple, following which a list will be prepared.

Bengaluru(Karnataka): CM B.S.Yadiyurappa today launched the Logo and Brouchers of the mass marriage project that introduced by the BJP government recently.



After Launching this in Vidhanasoudha, Just because of marrige poor and middle class people were selling their home and other assets, and they tried to take loans for the heavy interest from the outsiders. To conduct a marriage Parents will suffers a lot, From this our government has decided to make the mass marriage every year from the department of Muzrai, CM BSY Said.



The mass marriages are scheduled to be held in 100 A Grade temples of the Muzarayi Department in all over Karnataka and we will provide 55000rs to a couple, And this money will provide from the fund of temple itself, BSY added.

Government decided to make ambassador as Infosys Foundation president Sudhamurthy and Actor Rocking star Yash.



On april 26th and on May 24th Marriage will be held announced by govenrment. And in the marriage 8grm gold and Thaali and 10000 amount will be given for bride, And 5000 amount for groom.



Conditions for Mass Marriage:



The money which can given by government will provide after the marriage

Identity card should be submitted

Bride and groom Have to arrange the failities for marraiage according to their culture

There is no chance for Second Marriage

Number of people who arives in marriage should be informed first

If the Parents were died of bride and groom, Death certificate is cumpolsary

Before 30 days Bride and groom have to regiter in the Temple for Marriage

Punishable offence if Fake document is provided

If any objection for Marriage, Bride and groom have to inform before 20 days from the marriage date
