Mumbai: Actor Kangana Ranaut gave her first reaction after Brihamumbai Mumbai Corporation (BMC) demolished a part of her office. Kangana Ranaut posted a video on Twitter with a caption, "What you did was right, #deathof democracy, hitting out at Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

In a video message to Uddhav Thackeray, the actor said, "You demolished my home today, tomorrow your ego will be demolished."

Accusing the Shiv Sena Supremo of razing her office with the help of mafias, she added, "Time will definitely change in future. You have done a great favour for me. Today I can understand the plight of Kashmiri Pandits.

"I promise to my country that I will make a movie on Kashmir to help wake up my countrymen. I was aware that this would happen to us. Since this has happened to me, this holds some significance. Uddhav Thackeray, it's good that I faced this hooliganism as it holds importance. Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra," the video stated.

Earlier in the day, the Bombay High Court has stayed the demolition process of Kangana Ranaut's Mumbai office after the actor moved court against the action of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday.

Kangana has courted controversy with her recent comments about the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra. In response to a remark by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut where he asked her not to come back to the city after she claimed she felt unsafe in the city, Kangana had compared Mumbai with PoK.
