Bihar: Janata Dal (United) President and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will kickstart assembly election campaign on Sunday by addressing district-level party workers including booth level ones from four districts - Sitamarhi, Shivihar, Madhubani, and East Champaran - via video conferencing amid coronavirus outbreak.
As part of his six-day campaign which will end on June 12, Kumar will be interacting with party cadres from 38 districts.
Kumar has been virtually connecting with party leaders for quite some time now, but this is the first time since the outbreak of Covid-19 that the party chief will interact with such a large number of party workers.
Kumar's campaign coincides with that of Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah who will launch the saffron party's poll campaign in the state via video conferencing on Sunday.
