Srinagar: A 20-member delegation led by Navin Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture, reached Dubai on Tuesday to attend the India-UAE Food Security Summit 2020. Several products exported from Jammu and Kashmir would be exhibited in the summit.
"India and the UAE have friendly relations and this summit is being held to deepen these relations. The cooperation between the two countries, especially in food security, could be enhanced during the summit," Chaudhary said while speaking at the Summit.
"Working together for strengthening the marketing of agricultural and horticultural products of India and the United Arab Emirates, is the purpose of the Summit," he added.
India-UAE Food Security Summit 2020 is being held, December 8 and 9, by the Consulate General of India, Dubai, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industries.
