India, Kazakhstan share military experience to tackle terrorism

'Ex KAZIND', a 12-day joint military exercise between India and Kazakhstan was organised in India, wherein both the armies learnt from each other to effectively handle terror activities.

New Delhi: The joint military exercise - 'Ex KAZIND' - between India and Kazakhstan has been completed successfully with the participating companies learning from each other's experience to deal with the danger of terrorism.

Speaking to media after completion of the exercise, officials of both the armies expressed satisfaction and said it was beneficial for both of them.

The joint military exercise that commenced on October 3, saw 48 hours of outdoor exercise where the participating troops stayed in thick jungles and tackled various situations.

"The Validation exercise culminated with a joint Cordon and search operation where they operated on specific input given by the higher headquarters. The Validation was witnessed by the Kazak delegation headed by a Maj General and the Indian Side was also represented by an officer of the same rank." said an army statement issued here.

The exercise will officially conclude with a closing ceremony on October 15, the release said.

New Delhi: Military exercise 'Ex KAZIND' between Indian and Kazakhstan Armies culminated on Monday at Pithoragarh.

The bilateral Joint exercise that commenced on October 3 saw 48 hours of outdoor exercise where Indian Army and Kazakhstan Army troops stayed in thick jungles and tackled various situation.

"The Validation exercise culminated with a joint Cordon and search operation where they operated on specific input given by the higher headquarters. The Validation was witnessed by the Kazak delegation headed by a Maj General and the Indian Side was also represented by an officer of same rank." said an army statement.

The delegation appreciated the jointness achieved at the Company level in executive intricately difficult tasks in the mountainous and jungle terrain of Pithoragarh.
