Tezpur: According to reports, a standoff between Indian Army and People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) took place in Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh in July.

In a footage, both army personnels can be seen exchanging words.

Besides, the faceoff which lasted for half an hour took place at Tsocho village near a waterfall alongside the border, sources said.

The area is under Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Based on reports, though the Indian Army officers questioned the Chinese troops, they abstained from giving appropiate answers.

This comes after a 75-day standoff in Sikkim's Doklam last year, which was resolved following mutual withdrawal of army troops.

Many SouthEast Asian countries at that time supported India's position and status quo was restored in the region.

India and China share 3,488-km-long border area from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh.
