New Delhi: Denouncing statements from Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar on Friday accused him of not understanding diplomacy.
Regarding Pakistan PM's remarks claiming that people are waiting for his call to cross LoC, he said, "This is not the first time that Pakistan PM has made a provocative statement. We condemn it. We believe he doesn't understand how international relations work. His remark shows that he is unfit for the office he is holding."
Kumar's condemnation comes after Imran Khan's various statements at multiple platforms since the Indian government's decision to revoke Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking a swipe at Pakistani leadership, Raveesh Kumar accused it of duplicity for approaching United Nations Security Council for allowing JuD chief Hafiz Saeed to use his bank account for monthly expenses.
"Hafiz Saeed is a UN designated terrorist. He is also the mastermind of 26/11 terror attacks. Despite all this one country writes a letter on behalf of a terrorist for providing him pocket money. How will anyone trust them when they say it is fighting against terrorism? This is their duplicity," said MEA spokesperson.
