Chennai: A woman Tantrik and her assistant were arrested in Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday in human sacrificing case where a 13-year-old girl was murdered by her father at the behest of Tantrik, a source said.
According to sources, a 55-year-old man strangled his daughter believing the woman Tantrik and her assistant who told him that he would become rich if he murdered his daughter and he would also end up having a male child. However, the man was arrested on Tuesday.

Police said the man identified as Paneerselvam initially alleged that someone had sexually assaulted and killed his daughter, however, on further inquiries he confessed to having killed his daughter after believing the words of Tantrik.
