New Delhi: Former Union Minister Arif Mohammad Khan, who held Aviation portfolio during Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's tenure, has hailed Modi government's decision to revoke special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution.
Former Union Minister Arif Mohammad Khan hails scrapping of Article 370 Referring to the Shimla agreement, Khan took a jibe at the present Congress leadership for calling it a UN matter. He also added that Kashmir is a bilateral issue since 1973. Talking about the benefits of the move, Khan said, "Article 370 was neither under the jurisdiction of Supreme Court nor CAG, it only helped politicians and civil servants. This article never allowed common people to ask questions from the established authority."
