Madhya Pradesh: Madhya Pradesh's former CM and BJP leader, Babulal Gaur passed away at Narmada Hospital in Bhopal, this morning.
Gaur served as the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh from August 2004 to November 2005.
He was admitted to the hospital after his blood pressure dropped last week and since then he was in a critical condition.
The 89-year-old BJP leader was put on a ventilator at the Narmada Hospital here.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the demise of Babulal Gaur, saying he continuously worked to strengthen the party.

Modi said Gaur served people for decades and transformed the state."From Jana Sangh days, he worked constantly to strengthen our party. As Minister and CM of Madhya Pradesh
he undertook many efforts to transform the state," the PM wrote on Twitter. "Saddened by his demise," he added.
Born on June 2, 1930, Babulal Gaur was elected in 10 assembly elections from Govindpura before retiring from electoral politics in 2018 due to old age.
