Hyderabad (Telangana): Five people were killed when a tipper lorry rammed a car at Gachibowli area in Hyderabad on Sunday, police said.
The mishap occurred when the car jumped a red traffic signal early this morning.
The car took a right turn when the lorry coming from the opposite direction rammed it, killing four people on the spot, police said.
Another man died without responding to treatment at a hospital.

The deceased were identified as Katragadda Santhosh (25), Chintha Mohan(22), Bharadwaja(20), Roshan and Pavan.
All the five were staying in a hostel at Madhapur in Hyderabad.
The lorry driver sustained simple injuries.
The bodies were taken to Osmania hospital for autopsy.
Earlier, on December 5, three people were killed in Telangana's Nizamabad district after a speeding car hit a two-wheeler and later crashed into a hotel
