Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir): Farooq Lone and Zubair Ahmed Raza have been appointed as the new members of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), officials said.
"Farooq Lone and Zubair Ahmed Raza appointed as members of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission," said Department of Information and Public Relations, Jammu and Kashmir Government.
Farooq Lone is a retired IAS while Zubair Ahmed Raza is the district Judge of Doda.
Earlier, on June 29, chairman of JK PSC, B.R. Sharma, administered the oath of office to the four newly appointed Members.

While Subash Gupta and Sameer Bharti were administered the oath at Jammu office, Syed Iqbal Aga and Showkat Ahmad Zargar were administered the oath of office at Srinagar through video conferencing mode.
Earlier on June 24, Girish Chandra Murmu ordered the appointment of Syed Ahfad-ul-Mujtaba (Director General, Prosecution), Subash Gupta (retired District and Sessions Judge), Sameer Bharati (retired IFS officer), Showkat Ahmad Zargar( retired), Associate Professor (Mathematics), Higher Education Department) Syed Iqbal Aga (retired development commissioner Works), Des Raj (Chief Engineer Public Works (R&B Jammu) as the members of JKPSC.
Meanwhile, Veena Pandita was appointed as Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education for two more years.
