New Delhi: With the Bihar assembly elections and state Bharatiya Janta Party's organisational polls just around the corner, state unit chief Sanjay Jaiswal on Sunday said that the party is "always ready for elections".
"BJP is always ready for elections and whenever there is an organisational election taking place within the party, we tend to prepare a calendar of activities spanning across a year, " said Jaiswal after chairing a state unit core committee meeting held at his residence in New Delhi.

The core committee meeting which lasted for five hours was attended by several party leaders including Bihar BJP in-charge Bhupendra Yadav, BJP general secretary BL Santosh.
Elaborating on the discussion held during the meeting, Jaiswal said, "today we held a detailed discussion on the organisational poll taking place in Bihar. We also prepared a roadmap and calendar for the coming eight months, including organisation grand conventions across the state."

Jaiswal, however, shied away from commenting on the party's strategy for the Bihar assembly polls.
BJP’s organisational election takes place every three years after its membership drive gets over.
