Differently-abled Kerala artist wins CM's heart after donating to Relief Fund

A differently-abled painter named Pranav Balasubrahmanyan impressed Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan after he donated generously to the Chief Minister's Grievance Redressal & Distress Relief Fund. The relief fund has been set up to support post-flood rehabilitation and rebuilding in Kerala.

Differently-abled painter contributes to CMDRF

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday shared an emotional message on his Twitter handle regarding the visit of a differently-abled painter named Pranav Balasubrahmanyan.

Pranav Balasubrahmanyan met the CM recently and clicked photos with him after contributing to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF).

"Had a very touching experience this morning. Pranav, a painter from Alathur, visited me in the legislative office to hand over his contributions to the CMDRF. Pranav expressed happiness over the support given by the government for differently-abled persons," Vijayan tweeted.

The relief fund was set up to support post-flood rehabilitation and rebuilding in Kerala.

Previously, after the devastating 2018 floods in Kerala, Pranav had donated Rs 5,000 for the relief fund at an event in September.

Born without arms, Pranav excels in painting with his foot.
