Delhi Police being presented as persecutor: Adhir Chowdhury on Jamia library video

Congress leader, expressing his disappointment over the recent video which shows the brutality of Delhi police on Jamia students said that the police of the national capital is being presented as a persecutor which is a matter of shame.

New Delhi: Expressing his disappointment over purported brutality on Jamia students by Delhi Police seen in a two-month old video which surfaced on February 15, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said the police of the national capital is being presented as a persecutor which is a matter of shame.

The Congress leader made the remark on a viral video in which Delhi Police officials could be seen thrashing the students of Jamia Millia Islamia inside the college library.
