While speaking to journalists here in Delhi, he said the Union government has formed a group of Ministers to take decisions to prevent Coronavirus spread in India.
"Health, Civil Aviation, External Affairs ministers and secretaries are in the team. The team is being monitored by the PM. The team has been updating facts every 24 hours. The team played a crucial role in bringing Indians back from China, Japan and Iran. It is also working to bring back stranded Indians from Italy, "Muraleedaran said.
He further added that the IAF aircraft has brought Indians who were tested negative in Iran to India.

Muraleedaran also said that a medical team will leave for Italy to test stranded Indians.
"As Italy is witnessing many cases of Coronavirus, a medical team will leave for Italy shortly. The team will treat them and take proper steps to bring them back to India," he said.
