New Delhi: The seat-sharing talks between Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) have been stalled due to disagreements over a few seats like Ghatsila, Pakur, Sisai, Vishrampur, Jagganathpur and Mahagama.
According to reports, Congress wants to field Pradeep Balmuchu from Ghatsila, Gitashree Oraon from Sisai and Dadai Dube from Vishrampur. Congress also wants to field its candidate from Mahagama but the JMM seems to not agree with it.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Congress leader Pradeep Balmuchu said that the Congress will not strengthen JMM by losing everything. Congress party wants to make an alliance with JMM but it seems that the JMM is not on the same page.
"JMM is deliberately contesting the seats from where Congress wants senior leaders to contest elections. JMM is deliberately keeping a condition so that the alliance does not happen. It seems that the alliance with JMM will not be possible," said Balmuchu.
He further added that BJP is also not going to have an alliance with AJSU and they will also have to contest assembly elections alone.
It is to be noted that Jharkhand goes to polls on November 30 in five phases, which will continue till December 20.
